First Reconciliation 2024
Leading to First Holy Communion 2025
For Children in Year 3 or older who have been Baptised

Dear Parents,
Special greetings to all of you!
If you have a baptised child in year 3 or older, they are now eligible to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation which they need to receive before receiving First Holy Communion. This Sacrament, also known as Confession or Penance, is a healing Sacrament since after receiving this Sacrament, we feel God’s love and forgiveness for us. It is appropriate to call this Sacrament Reconciliation as we are reconciled with God and forgiven for the things we have done that are not pleasing to God.
You will find a link below if you wish to enrol your child for this sacrament. All applications are due by 30 September 2024. We cannot accept late applications. If you wish your child to make their First Holy Communion in 2025, they need to make their Reconciliation in 2024. After we receive your application, we will send you a letter with the times of the lessons and the Date of First Reconciliation. We had to change most of the dates that you were given at the beginning of the year since the dates clashed with other parish events.
Please do not send the application until all aspect of the application are complete. Wishing you God’s choicest blessings as you begin to prepare your child for this Sacrament.
